The final synthesis bag implemented three different types of technologies that we learned throughout the semester. My main inspiration was to make something for my 1 years old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Process
Then it was time to sew the body of the purse!
The first part of the process of making the synthesis bag was testing the print that I made on the UV printer and cutting the fabric in the Laser Cutter. Since this was my first prototype, I wasn’t really worried if the print was not completely straight
After that I cut it the dacron and the pvc board. The dacron was a lot thicker than what I expected and I was a little worried that i would not be able to sew it, however everything turn out okay!
After that I was able to sew the dacron to the lining and then to the body of the purse and also sew the bottom of the pvc board in the purse.
